Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of plumbing services by J B Smart Plumbing Services.

2. Services Provided
The Plumber offers plumbing services including but not limited to:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems

  • Emergency plumbing repairs

  • Central heating installations and servicing

  • Gas appliance installations (fully compliant with Gas Safety regulations)

3. Gas Safety Certification

  • The Plumber is Gas Safe registered and is qualified to carry out gas installations and repairs.

  • All work involving gas will be completed in accordance with current Gas Safety regulations.

  • A Gas Safety Certificate will be provided upon completion of all relevant gas work.

4. Quotation and Payment

  • Quotations are provided based on the information provided by the customer.

  • Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed.

  • Methods of payment accepted include bank transfer and cash

  • Inovice payments are Strictly 14 days from date of invoice

  • For services over £1000 a 20% deposit is required when order placed

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • The customer must provide accurate information regarding the plumbing issues.

  • Access must be granted to the property at the agreed time.

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring pets and valuables are secure during the service.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least [24/48] hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

  • A cancellation fee may be applied if the notice period is not adhered to.

7. Liability

  • The Plumber carries public liability insurance and will carry out work to the best of their ability.

  • The Plumber is not liable for any indirect losses or damages arising from the services provided.

8. Guarantee

  • The Plumber guarantees workmanship for a period of [e.g., 12 months] from the completion date.

  • Materials supplied may have a manufacturer’s warranty; any issues will be referred to the supplier.

9. Complaints

Any complaints regarding the service must be made in writing within 14 days of completing the work.The Plumber will respond to complaints in a timely manner.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11. Changes to Terms
The Plumber reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Any changes will be communicated to customers prior to the next service.
